The Moment It Began

Long before alFaritas became an ecosystem for digital engagement, and learning spaces, it began with a quiet, almost forgettable moment.

One late evening in 2007, after a long day of work, I stopped by a small roadside stall. There I met a young father, sitting alone, staring at a single cup of tea that had long gone cold. The man had just lost his job. Rent was due. His baby was sick. He felt cornered and invisible.

We spoke. Not as entrepreneur and stranger, but as two human beings. I listened - really listened - then helped him draw a simple, workable plan for the next few days: whom to call, what to sell, where to seek immediate help.

By the end of that conversation, the man’s eyes held a spark of relief. It wasn’t money that changed him. It was someone seeing him and helping him take the first step.

As I walked home in the quiet night, a thought burned in my heart:

That was the seed of alFadl-eXperitas.
