We do not just build houses. Not even homes. We aim to build lives. This is why when we work on social housing projects, we incorporate not just the hardware, but also the heartware. Making homes affordable is only part of the solution. Apart from making environments conducive to progressive living, new dwellers may need to switch jobs, change schools and make new friends and neighbours. Most importantly, they may need to convert a part of their culture and daily routines.
Such sacrifices are unavoidable. When we work with governments, the form and function of each environment plays a very important part in our design and layout.
